Contact information must be complete, accurate and valid. Requests with incomplete or invalid information won't be processed.

Processing time

Please allow up to 10 business days for standard requests, and up to 30 business days for complex requests or video. Records are delivered digitally to the email address you give.

Redaction

Information protected by law — such as the faces and voices of people not involved, home addresses, phone numbers and dates of birth — will be redacted, and some records may be withheld. You'll be told why.

Subpoenas

Subpoenas aren't accepted through this portal. Serve them in person or by certified mail.

Research fees may apply for requests that need an extensive search: the first two hours are free, then $25.00 an hour.

Fee waivers

Fees are waived for victims requesting their own domestic violence reports, and for next of kin requesting death or fatal crash reports. Others may ask the Alder Springs Police Department Records Unit for a waiver in writing.
